Tinnitus Cure
Tinnitus Cure
There is no tinnitus cure, and the main reason is that this ringing in the ears is not a disease. Instead, it could be a symptom of an underlying disease or certain medical conditions that could be more alarming and detrimental than the unwanted noise itself.
The best known causes for this are the loss of hearing due to age and repeated exposure to loud noise. But it could also be caused by the long-term use of medication, a common example of which is aspirin.
It should also not be taken for granted, for its presence could also mean the presence of Meniere's disease, an injury in the head or neck, hyperthyroidism, hypertension, anemia, atherosclerosis, or malformation of the capillaries.
When its cause is known, it is easier to treat the ringing ear. Yet it should be clear to a sufferer that there are treatments that could alleviate the discomfort that the condition brings, but there is no real tinnitus cure. But this fact should not stop the sufferers from looking for ways to deal with the condition positively.
Why spend sleepless hours at night hearing that distracting noise when something can be done about it?
Wearing maskers is one solution. Maskers could help a sufferer sleep better by producing a selected band of sound, usually white noise, which masks the unwanted sound. Also used to make the tinnitus less noticeable, hearing aids function by magnifying the sounds in the wearer's environment.
Besides the mentioned devices, other treatments could be in the form of drug therapy; some patients feel the need to use antidepressants to manage their stress.
However, these are reported to have side effects like drying of the mouth, blurring of one's vision, and constipation. Wary of the side effects that certain conventional drugs bring, patients may resort to alternative treatments.
Alternative Tinnitus Treatments :
• Homeopathic Remedies
• Herbal Preparations
• Reflexology
• Meditation
• Acupressure
• Acupuncture
As there is no tinnitus cure, it would also be best that we maintain a helthy lifestyle and nutritionally balance diet. For one, we have to avoid substances that may trigger the annoying sound. These include nicotine, alcohol, salty foods, chocolate, and cheese.
It would also help to stay away from very noisy places, or if it is really necessary to go that place, wear hearing protection devices such as ear plugs and special earmuffs. But more than anything else, having a positive attitude towards the condition is the one of the best treatments there is.
Dear John,
The tinnitus in my right ear is almost cured. I'm a very critical person especially when it come's to natural medication but this homeopathic remedy really seems to work.
I first bought the tinnitus treatment about 6 weeks ago and some days it comes back. Although for the last 2 weeks i have been able to do what i want when i want do it.
Together with the treatment I now lead a healthy lifestyle and drink loads of water. I have had to cut back on my milk intake because that seems to trigger it and also stopped drinking tea all-together.
I would like to Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Peter Barnes
